Birmingham, Mich. – Dec. 6, 2017 – Jessica Woll, managing partner of Woll & Woll, P.C., a Michigan-based divorce and family law firm specializing in child-centric divorce℠ matters and complex family law issues, has been elected vice chair of the Board of Directors of the Birmingham Bloomfield Art Center (BBAC).  Woll has been a member of the BBAC board since June 2016.

As a long-time supporter of the nonprofit visual arts organization, Woll hosted the BBAC’s Fine Art of Summer fundraiser in 2015 at her Bloomfield Hills home and has a multi-generational connection to the organization—Woll’s mother, Pauline Woll; Woll herself; and Woll’s daughter have all taken art classes at the BBAC.  Woll is also an avid world traveler and art collector; her collection includes Asian art and artifacts from her journeys, as well as art and sculpture from Northern Michigan artists.

Annie VanGelderen, president and CEO of the BBAC, expressed enthusiasm on Woll’s appointment.

“Jessica’s passion for art combined with her dedication to community engagement moves people to take action and will strengthen our legacy in the community,” VanGelderen said.  “The Birmingham Bloomfield Art Center is fortunate to have such a dynamic board member invested in the vision and growth of our organization moving forward.”

Woll holds a Juris Doctorate from Wayne State University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Economic Development from the University of Michigan. She maintains a Lexis Nexis Top Lawyer rating and Martindale Hubbell’s AV Preeminent Peer Review rating. Woll is a member of the National Council of Jewish Women, Metro Detroit section, and the National Association of Professional Women. Among her many legal awards, Woll was most recently named a 2017 Michigan Super Lawyer in the practice area of family law and a 2018 Top Lawyer by DBusiness magazine.
