Rochester, Mich. — June 16, 2015 – Rochester Rotary, a member club of Rotary International, a worldwide organization of business and professional leaders that provides humanitarian service and encourages high ethical standards in all vocations, announces the availability of a new corporate membership policy designed for executives not able to meet the regular meeting commitments of the organization. The announcement was made by Rochester Rotary President and incoming Rotary Assistant District Governor, Rhonda Panczyk.

“The Rochester Rotary is thriving and we regularly get about 50 to 60 members at our weekly Tuesday lunch meeting,” Panczyk said. “However, we understand there are key executives and leaders in the Rochester community who can’t commit to a weekly meeting. As we seek ways to be responsive to our evolving membership, we are introducing a corporate policy that allows a company president or executive to send a representative from his or her organization to a weekly meeting when the member is unavailable. This not only provides a member benefit, it also keeps the information flow consistent between Rochester Rotary and the member organization.”

The first new member under the corporate membership policy is Rochester Community Schools Superintendent, Dr. Robert Shaner. Shaner was the featured speaker at Rochester Rotary’s June 9 meeting, attending with Lori Grein, director, ccommunity relations and foundation, Rochester Community Schools.
