Southfield, Mich. —July 17, 2018— Moss & Colella, P.C., a Southfield, Michigan-based law firm specializing in personal injury and civil rights, is pleased to announce its new firm website www.mosscolella.com.

The website includes a detailed list of the firm’s legal services, from traditional personal injury to representative services for individuals and groups impacted by civil rights violations by police and government agencies, as well as the nascent area of personal injury law devoted to educational discrimination and harassment. The new website was created by the web design and SEO firm, Greening Corporation United of West Bloomfield, Michigan.

Moss & Colella was established in 1997 by David M. Moss and A. Vince Colella. Colella is gaining a national reputation for his litigation efforts representing victims and their families in wrongful death or injury cases involving police officers. In 2018, he obtained a confidential seven-figure settlement for the family of an unarmed woman who was shot and killed by a Dearborn Police Officer in 2016. Colella is also known for successfully representing clients in gross negligence cases, including cases against defendants who have governmental immunity. In May 2017, he successfully argued to a Michigan Court of Appeals panel that immunity should not be afforded to a public school teacher who encouraged a student to use a table saw without a blade guard, resulting in serious and permanent injuries to the student’s hand.

David Moss, known for his trial and negotiation skills, has argued before the Michigan Supreme Court and several Michigan Court of Appeals panels. He has a special focus in railroad law and has litigated hundreds of cases on behalf of injured railroad workers around the country.

Both Moss and Colella and their team of attorneys regularly handle traditional personal injury, including automobile, trucking and motorcycle accidents and premises liability. This year alone, the firm is approaching $5 million in auto accident related settlements.

“This is shaping up to be another banner year for our clients,” Colella said. “Our new website is reflective of our dedication to finding resolution and compensation for those who have been injured or had their civil rights violated.”
