Troy, Mich.—August 16, 2021—Fishman Stewart, an intellectual property specialty law firm, is pleased to announce Angela V. Bauer has joined the firm as a registered patent attorney. She has more than ten years of IP experience and previously worked at smaller IP boutique law firms.
Bauer’s legal practice includes patent and trademark prosecution, and she works with inventors to protect their creations and maximize the value of their intellectual property. Prior to her transition into the legal world in 2007, Bauer spent 10 years working in the automotive industry as a design engineer, giving her a unique perspective of the practical, day-to-day, hands-on responsibilities and challenges of her clients.
Bauer holds a Juris Doctor from Detroit Mercy Law, an M.S. in mechanical engineering from Oakland University; and a B.S. in mechanical engineering from Kettering University.
In addition to her passion for the law, Bauer is an active outdoors enthusiast who loves camping, hiking, and biking. She is also a certified SCUBA diver.
“We are excited to have Angela Bauer on the Fishman Stewart team, and our clients can expect another strong practitioner to represent their best IP interests,” managing partner Michael Stewart said.
