Detroit — December 13, 2017 — Nemeth Law, P.C., a Detroit-based labor and employment law firm, announced that firm founder and president Patricia Nemeth has been selected for inclusion in the Crain’s Detroit Business inaugural Notable Women Lawyers in Michigan list, featuring nearly 60 acclaimed women attorneys from throughout Michigan working in the private and public sector, including law firms, general counsel, non-profits, academia and government.

Attorneys were selected based on their reputation for excellence in the law, involvement with the community and mentorship of other aspiring female attorneys.  Crain Content Studio worked with advisors in the legal field to review nominations and select the final honorees. Nemeth’s profile for the Notable Women Lawyers in Michigan can be viewed here.

The Crain Content Studio recognition comes on the heels of Nemeth being selected by a vote of her peers for inclusion in DBusiness Magazine’s 2018 list of Top Lawyers, which was published in the November/December 2017 issue. DBusiness’ Top Lawyers is based on a peer-review survey open to all area lawyers and Nemeth was named in the category of mediation.

Nemeth founded Nemeth Law as a solo practitioner in 1992. The firm, celebrating its 25th anniversary in 2017, is the largest woman-owned law firm in Michigan to exclusively represent management in the prevention, resolution and litigation of labor and employment disputes.  Earlier this fall, Nemeth was named among the Top 25 Women Business Michigan Super Lawyers and Top 50 Women Michigan Super Lawyers, a listing of women lawyers who ranked top of the list in the 2017 Michigan Super Lawyers nomination, research and blue-ribbon review process. Additionally, Nemeth was recently selected by her peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America© 2018, her sixth year on the list.
