Wyandotte, Mich. — November 5, 2020 — Michigan Legacy Credit Union (MLCU), with six physical branches in Flat Rock, Garden City, Highland, Pontiac, Warren and Wyandotte, and a mobile app that provides credit union services—such as opening an account, changing an address, applying for and closing on a new loan, including mortgages—via a virtual video teller, will host a one-day hiring event on Saturday, November 14, 2020 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at its Wyandotte location at 269 Oak Street.
Michigan Legacy is set to reopen the newly remodeled Wyandotte branch, the first of several branches slated for renovation within its network, in January 2021. The foundation of the branch renovations is a right-sized footprint, with easy to use tech-tools, and helpful staff ready to assist credit union members.
Michigan Legacy will be hiring eight to twelve contact center and concierge positions for its Wyandotte and Warren branches to support its new video teller platform and branch concierge roles. There are both full-time and part-time positions available and no experience is necessary.
“Michigan Legacy is looking for friendly, service-oriented individuals to fill these positions,” Carma Peters, Michigan Legacy Credit Union CEO said. “No experience is necessary because, as we like to say around here, we can teach you everything you need to know, but we can’t teach you how to be nice.”
