Rochester, Mich. –April 29, 2020– MedNetOne Health Solutions (MedNetOne), a health care management organization offering infrastructure, clinical and technology services to nearly 1,00 private practice physicians and other independent care providers, including behavioral health specialists, announced that Elizabeth Haberkorn, MSN, FNP-BC, has been named an Associate Medical Director, responsible for advising the organization on best practices in her specialty area of primary care. The announcement was made by CEO Ewa Matuszewski.
Concurrent with her new role as Associate Medical Director, Haberkorn remains the primary care nurse practitioner at Judson Center Family Health in Warren, Michigan. Judson Center Family Health (JCFH) provides family healthcare services to all ages and is a joint effort between MedNetOne and non-profit Judson Center, a multi-county human service agency that also provides autism programs, behavioral health services, child and family services including foster care and adoption in tandem with its affiliate, Child Safe Michigan, and employment services for persons with disabilities. MedNetOne provides clinical staffing and infrastructure for JCFH. Habaerkorn took the lead in March 2020 to introduce telehealth at JCFH to ease primary care access during the COVID-19 pandemic.
“Elizabeth Haberkorn is an emerging primary care leader who is well positioned to help guide MedNetOne through the new era of primary care, where patient access and the use of cross disciplinary health teams and telehealth will be paramount to whole person care,” Matuszewski said.
Prior to joining MedNetOne, Haberkorn was a nurse practitioner with St. John Providence. She has also served as an emergency department nurse at Henry Ford Health System, a direct care staff member at a nursing home and a research assistant at Michigan Medicine. She holds a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from the University of Michigan, a Bachelor of Science in nursing from Madonna University, and a Bachelor of Arts in kinesiology from Albion College.
