ANN ARBOR, Mich.– June 8, 2016 –Managing Intellectual Property magazine (MIP) named nine attorneys at Brinks Gilson & Lione, one of the largest intellectual property law firms in the U.S., to its annual list of IP Stars. The attorneys with Michigan connections include firm president and Michigan native/University of Michigan alum James R. Sobieraj and Steven L. Oberholtzer, managing shareholder of the Ann Arbor office. Both Oberholtzer and Soberaij were named a Patent Star and Trademark Star. Ann Arbor shareholder Lawrence G. (L.G.) Almeda and Ann Arbor associate attorney Joshua E. Ney, Ph.D., were recognized as Patent Stars.
