Integr8™ speakers include world-renowned manufacturing experts and Industry 4.0 thought leaders from GE Digital, PTC, General Motors, Lear Corporation, HP, KUKA Robotics, FANUC, Comau, OMRON, Lift, Parker Hannifin, the FBI, DARPA, the U.S. Department of Commerce, MIT, Carnegie Mellon University, The University of Michigan, Fraunhofer Institute and many more.
As the title suggests, Integr8™ will focus on the integration of eight major components of Industry 4.0, also known as the Fourth Industrial Revolution — cybersecurity, big data and artificial intelligence, additive manufacturing, advanced materials, the Industrial Internet of Things, cloud computing, modeling simulation and visualization, and robotics — and how they are rapidly transforming manufacturing today.
“Together, these eight technology spaces are bringing the dynamics of information technology into the world of manufacturing. Industry 4.0 has the promise of letting us manufacture at the speed of information, and the economic impact associated with this phenomenon is profound,” said Tom Kelly, Automation Alley executive director and CEO. “In addition to providing us with new capabilities to conceive and create the products of the future, the fundamental change driven by these technologies will be the human impact. How will robots and humans work together? How will we upskill our workforce? These questions and more will be explored at Integr8™.”
Integr8™, taking place Nov. 9, from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., at the Detroit Marriott at the Renaissance Center, will advance attendees’ knowledge and understanding of the digitalization of the production process and will help companies enhance their global competitiveness while also serving as a call to action for manufacturers as they keep pace with rapid change on their factory floors. Attendees will enjoy breakfast and lunch keynote presentations, a technology expo featuring the latest in cutting-edge industrial automation technologies and breakout sessions focused on advancements in manufacturing, how to overcome obstacles to adoption, financial ROI and blueprints for successful Industry 4.0 implementation.
The evening before the conference, Automation Alley will host the Integr8™ VIP Dinner and Cocktail Reception from 5:30-8:30 p.m., at the new Little Caesars Arena in Detroit.
