Rochester, Mich. – May 24, 2021 – Barbara Fornasiero, Principal and Founder of EAFocus Communications, a Rochester-based public relations firm, is pleased to announce Lucie Fornasiero has joined the firm as a director.

EAFocus Communications serves a variety of professions including law, public accounting and medical/dental—as well as other niche business-to-business sectors and select non-profit organizations.  Known for its expertise in thought leadership PR, the firm has built its reputation on cultivating long-term client relationships where team members form valuable, lasting partnerships to share timely, issues-oriented information with internal and external audiences.

Lucie Fornasiero is the daughter of Barbara Fornasiero and has been watching her mother’s client base grow since her middle school days. Naturally drawn to building community connections, Lucie brings a millennial’s perspective to current affairs and an expanded skillset that will allow the firm to also handle project management activities that have a critical communications component and grant writing and coordination activities. Additionally, she will use her communications, strategy, and tech-savvy skills to work with clients on social media, traditional PR, crisis communications, and professional introductions.

Lucie Fornasiero began her professional career in 2015 in Madison, Wisconsin, as a project manager with healthcare software giant Epic. Interacting with C-suite executives from some of the nation’s largest healthcare systems to coordinate the implementation of Epic software, she earned the Capstone Award, which recognizes the key contributor who went above and beyond to bring a customer to success during an implementation. From Epic, she moved to public sector consulting, communications, and project management. During her undergraduate career, she participated in the University of Michigan’s nationally recognized Development Student Internship Program (DSIP) and then spent her senior year working in development at the Penny W. Stamps School of Art and Design.

Lucie Fornasiero holds a dual degree in Sociology and Spanish from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, and is pursuing her MBA at Wayne State University. A Rochester Hills native, Adams High School graduate and proud Michigander, she is inspired by the experiences available to those living in Michigan, whether it be Detroit and surrounding areas, or Up North.
