EAFocus Communications is a boutique firm serving a variety of professions including law, public accounting and medical/dental—as well as other niche B2B sectors, financial institutions and select nonprofit organizations and affinity groups. Michigan’s original thought leadership PR firm, EAFocus has built its reputation on cultivating long-term client relationships by sharing timely, issues-oriented information with internal and external audiences, all while elevating its clients’ brands.
Fornasiero began the business following a 12-year career with Plante Moran, where she served in HR, marketing and PR roles. Working chiefly with the firm’s leadership throughout her tenure and gaining a deep understanding of professional client service, she incorporates many of the principles she learned there into her own business.

Also celebrating a milestone 15th year with EAFocus Communications is Susan Davis, who joined the firm in 2009 as writer, editor, publicist and chief organizer, spearheading efforts to position EAFocus as the go-to firm to “get stuff done” in a smart, responsive and respectful manner.
The firm has continued to expand as client needs evolve. Following the addition of Lucie Fornasiero as a director in 2021, EAFocus began offering project management services to the healthcare/nonprofit communities, administering grants and programs for projects including remote maternal health monitoring and Medicaid Renewal. The project management capabilities stem from Lucie Fornasiero’s previous experience as a project manager for healthcare software giant, Epic, where she interacted with C-suite executives from some of the nation’s largest healthcare systems to coordinate the implementation of Epic software.
As the landscape of media and technology changed – and with the introduction and maturity of social media – EAFocus has evolved over the past 25 years, expanding beyond traditional PR and media relations.
