Ann Arbor, Mich.—January 12, 2017–Brinks Gilson & Lione, one of the nation’s largest intellectual property law firms, announced that six shareholders from the Ann Arbor office have been named firm-wide chairpersons of the firm’s legal and industry practice groups and internal committees for 2017.
In the area of Legal Practice Groups, Jon Beaupré is Co-Chair of the Post-Grant Patent Legal Practice Group and Michael Spink is Chair of the Intellectual Asset Management and Licensing Legal Practice Group.
In the area of Industry Practice Groups, Lawrence G. (L.G.) Almeda is Chair of the Nanotechnology Industry Practice Group and Bill Boudreaux is Co-Chair of the Biotech/Pharma Industry Practice Group.
Additionally, Almeda is Chair of the Brazil Task Force and Linda Nattler is Chair of the Germany Task Force. In the area of committees, Steve Oberholtzer, Ann Arbor’s office managing partner, is Chair of the firm’s Client Service Committee and Spink is the Social Media Committee Chair.
