Ann Arbor, Mich.—June 19, 2019— Brinks Gilson & Lione, one of the nation’s largest intellectual property law firms, is pleased to announce that Brigid Lossing, a member of the administrative team in the Ann Arbor office, is among the recipients of the Unsung Legal Hero award presented by legal trade journal Michigan Lawyers Weekly. The Unsung Legal Hero recognizes Michigan’s talented legal support professionals who consistently go above and beyond the call of duty, often behind the scenes.

Lossing joined Brinks in 2008. She is a paralegal and legal administrative support professional with extensive experience in both litigation and patent prosecution.  Additionally, she interfaces with the firm’s large clients to assist them with electronic communications and data management.

The nomination for the Unsung Legal Hero award, submitted by several Brinks attorneys who work with Lossing, noted that she “…has an exceptional aptitude for connecting with clients. She understands client needs…and delivers a product that makes the client’s job easier. Most importantly, she has a strong technical understanding and helped create a client internet portal to deliver information and work product to our clients that speeds communication and workflow.”

Commenting on the Unsung Hero recognition and her career at Brinks, Lossing said, “I appreciate the opportunity I’ve had to learn new skills and apply them towards better supporting our attorneys and upholding our tradition of excellent client service.”
