Southfield, Mich. —December 28, 2020 — A. Vince Colella, noted personal injury and civil rights attorney and co-founder of Southfield-based Moss & Colella, P.C., has been named trial co-counsel in a Cadillac, Michigan excessive force case brought against the Cadillac police department. The case involves a teenage male who was tackled by two city police officers on March 30, 2020 and suffered a severe hip injury as a result of the force exerted by the officers. Attorney Richard F. Cummins filed the lawsuit on November 11, 2020 on behalf of the teen by his father, Donald Cubitt, in the United States District Court for the Western District of Michigan.
