Royal Oak, Mich. — September 11, 2019— Child Safe Michigan, an affiliate of Judson Center, is pleased to announce the 10th anniversary of its Pull! for Kids event on Thursday, September 19, at the Detroit Gun Club in Walled Lake. The annual sporting clays tournament raises funds for Child Safe Michigan to continue the programs and services that ensure abused and at-risk children in Southeast Michigan live healthy and happy lives. Last year, the organization provided foster care services to 87 children, matched 62 mentors and mentees, and helped 23 children find forever homes through adoption.
“We are excited to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Pull! for Kids,” said event chair Joe Yamin. “This annual event has a strong history of making a difference in the lives of children who are suffering through traumatic experiences by supporting Child Safe Michigan with the resources needed to give these children a safe home and real hope for the future.”
All skill levels are welcome to this action-packed tournament, featuring 75 rounds of sporting clays. Each team will be provided with targets, all standard ammunition, ear and eye protection, shooting cart and a puller for assistance. The event will continue with the Detroit Gun Club’s famous grill dinner, followed by a short program with awards, live auction and raffles.
