Rochester, Mich. – October 29, 2020 –MedNetOne Health Solutions (MedNetOne)—a health care management organization offering infrastructure, clinical and technology services to nearly 1,000 private practice physicians and other independent care providers including behavioral health specialists—announced that CEO Ewa Matuszewski will be a featured speaker at Oakland University’s School of Health Science’s Healthology 2020–Beyond COVID-19: Igniting Innovation in Health.  Presented by Priority Health, with MedNetOne serving as the speaker sponsor, the livestream symposium will take place Thursday, November 12, from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Healthology celebrates impactful collaborative approaches for addressing upstream social determinants of health (#SDOH) in achieving better downstream care. This year’s theme will focus on the creative solutions developed across different health sectors in response to the unique challenges of this pandemic. Speakers will share how they adapted and responded to the public health crisis in the face of adversity, and how, through creative problem-solving and fortitude, turned challenges into opportunities.

Matuszewski, who also serves as Board Chair on the School of Health Sciences Board of Advocacy and Resource Development, is pleased that MedNetOne has been able to play an ongoing role in Healthology, underscoring the importance of having an annual event that puts the focus on social determinants of health (#SDOH) within a pandemic.

“There is a new urgency for the healthcare community to work in tandem with our local communities to identify social determinants of health challenges that have been exacerbated by the pandemic,” Matuszewski said. “Healthology is a well-respected, population-health focused event that uses dialogue, shared research and experiences, and collaboration after the symposium to spark inventive health and wellness solutions that can be delivered to the public at large.”

In addition to Matuszewski, the panelists presenting on the 5:30 p.m. livestream include:
