Ann Arbor, Mich.—Brinks Gilson & Lione, one of the largest intellectual property law firms in the U.S., announced that six shareholders from the Ann Arbor office have been named firm-wide chairpersons of the firm’s legal and industry practice groups and internal committees for 2018.

In the area of Legal Practice Groups, William R. Boudreaux is Co-Chair of the Patent Prosecution Group and Michael N. Spink is Chair of the Intellectual Asset Management and Licensing Group. In the area of Industry Practice Groups, Lawrence G. (L.G.) Almeda is Chair of the Nanotechnology Group and Gerlinde (Linda) Nattler is Co-Chair of the Green Technology Industry Practice Group. Additionally, Nattler is Chair of the Germany Task Force and Spink serves as Co-Chair of the Korea Task Force.

As previously announced, Steven L. Oberholtzer, office managing partner, and James K. Cleland were named Co-Chairs of the firm’s Automotive Industry Practice Group.

Brinks’ Ann Arbor office is one of the firm’s seven offices in the U.S. The firm also has an office in Shenzhen, China.
