Mount Clemens, Mich. – May 26, 2022 Turning Point, an agency whose mission is to empower domestic and sexual violence survivors through comprehensive services and resources, is pleased to announce its sixth annual Survivors Golf Outing will be held at Cracklewood Golf Club in Macomb on Friday, June 24. The event’s presenting sponsor is Grit Technologies. Turning Point President and CEO, Sharman Davenport, Ph.D., welcomed the event’s return.

“We are pleased that our Survivors Golf Outing continues to be an annual tradition,” Davenport remarked. “The outing’s continued success is dependent on community partners who believe in our mission at Turning Point, and we are very grateful for their support.”

Events like the Survivors Golf Outing allow Turning Point to continue its important community efforts, including the Transitional and Rapid Re-Housing programs, emergency shelter, trauma advocacy and counseling, 24-hour hotline, Personal Protection Order (PPO) assistance, legal advocacy, Forensic Nurse Examiner and First Response Advocacy Program, and community/prevention education.

The outing is scramble style, with registration beginning at 10:30 a.m. The day will include course games and prizes, a hole-in-one contest, lunch, three drink tickets, and a post-golfing steak dinner. Registration is limited and the price is $175 per individual or $600 per foursome. Sponsorships opportunities are also available. More information and registration can be found here.
