Rochester, Mich. – April 24, 2020 – Ewa Matuszewski, CEO of MedNetOne Health Solutions (MedNetOne)—a health care management organization offering infrastructure, clinical and technology services to nearly 1,000 private practice physicians and other independent care providers including behavioral health specialists—was among several members of Michigan’s healthcare community featured on the April 23 edition of One Detroit. Airing on Detroit’s public television station DPTV, One Detroit is a public affairs show focusing on issues, culture, arts and the environment impacting Detroit, the region, and the State of Michigan.

The six minute segment is part of DPTV’s COVID-19 crisis coverage and can be viewed here, with Matuszewski appearing near the beginning of the segment and also closing out the feature. Her insights into telehealth, which is now included as a paid physician service by government health plans and most insurers, cover the value of telehealth visits in the pandemic, its interim use via regular social channels like Google Duo and FaceTime, and the need for telehealth services to remain covered to treat the mental health struggles of individuals experiencing an anticipated spike in pandemic-induced PTSD.

In the April 12 issue of the Detroit Free Press, Matuszewski, along with MedNetOne Solutions member physician Dr. Joe Gorz, also spoke about the surge in telehealth services. That article can be viewed here.
