Taleen Najarian, DPT, joins Integrated Health Systems in Birmingham

Birmingham, Mich.— May 20, 2015 — Integrated Health Systems (IHS), a medical clinic focusing on the entire person and bringing the mind and body into balance using functional psychiatry for optimal physical and emotional health and performance, announces Taleen Najarian, PT, DPT has joined the organization. Dr. Najarian leads the physical therapy and performance body composition practice at IHS.

Dr. Najarian helps bridge the gap between rehabilitation and performance for IHS patients and specializes in manual therapy and individualized care, which includes soft-tissue work, weight management, nutritional counseling and life coaching. Following the IHS approach to health, Dr. Najarian’s treatment approach considers the entire person, encompassing all body-systems, as well as the mental aspects of injury and dysfunction. She is experienced in treating a wide range of patients, from adolescents to adults and professional athletes.

Dr. Najarian holds a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Oakland University (OU) in Rochester, Mich. and a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from the University of Detroit Mercy. She has also completed certifications in nutrition, Olympic lifting and sports performance, as well as Active Release Technique. Additionally, Dr. Najarian is a teaching assistant in the physical therapy department at OU. She is a resident of Troy.
