What: The Rochester Rotary Club will be releasing approximately 1,000 golf balls from a helicopter above the practice range at Oakland University; this is the third year the club has hosted the annual golf ball drop in conjunction with the Rochester Rotary Club golf outing. Rotarians and the general public are able to purchase balls to drop from the helicopter and the ball that lands closest to the pin receives a $5,000 cash prize.

When: Monday, Aug. 11 at 12:45 p.m.
