Southfield, Mich. — November 25, 2019 — Moss & Colella, P.C., announces that Dylan J. Goodwin has joined the firm as an associate attorney after serving as a law clerk for the Southfield, Michigan-based personal injury and civil rights law firm. The announcement was made by Managing Partner, A. Vince Colella. 

Goodwin was sworn into the State Bar of Michigan by Judge David Groner on November 15, 2019. As an associate at Moss & Colella, he will focus his legal practice on litigation involving first and third-party auto law, negligence, medical malpractice, premise liability, civil rights, discrimination, gross negligence and governmental immunity cases. Prior to joining the firm, Goodwin worked as a law clerk at Mindell Law in Bingham Farms, Michigan; the Riverside County District Attorney’s Office in Riverside, California; and the Attleboro District Courthouse, Attleboro, Massachusetts.  

“We’re happy to have Dylan Goodwin join our firm as a full-fledged attorney,” Colella said. “He is a hard worker and a team player and has already shown great interest and understanding in personal injury and civil rights law.”

Goodwin received his Juris Doctorate from Michigan State University College of Law in May 2019.  While a law student, he was awarded the Geoffrey Fieger Trial Practice Institute (TPI) Certificate in addition to leading the Mock Trial and MLB Salary Arbitration Teams. He also finished in the top of his class in TPI and was a two-time Mock Trial Champion.  In addition, Goodwin holds a B.S. in Economics and a minor in Legal Studies from Central Michigan University, Mt. Pleasant, where he played four years of Division 1 baseball and was a captain in his senior year.

Goodwin has volunteered for the Special Olympics and PCUPS Foundation. He is a resident of Beverly Hills, Michigan.
