Detroit–March 27, 2018–Attorneys with Detroit-based management side labor and employment law firm Nemeth Law, P.C., made several presentations during the first quarter of 2018. The discussions covered a variety of employment law topics:

  • Partner Terry Bonnette presented Technology & Communication: Legal Issues in Long-Term Care at the Health Care Association of Michigan (HCAM)/Michigan Center for Assisted Living (MCAL) Spring Leadership Conference on March 21 in Battle Creek, Mich.
  • Bonnette delivered a presentation on Best Practices for Managing Competing Rights in the Workplace at the American Society of Employers (ASE) annual HR Conference on March 15 in Novi, Mich.
  • Partners Deborah Brouwer and Terry Bonnette, along with Senior Attorney Nick Huguelet, were the presenters for Nemeth Law’s 2018 Labor and Employment Law Update, part of the firm’s ongoing Raising the Bar legal education series for employers, held in Troy, Mich. on January 24.
  • Senior Attorney Heidi Junttila was a panelist for the student discussion topic Professionalism in Action at the Wayne State University Law School on January 19 in Detroit.

In addition, Nemeth Law’s videos and blog posts continue to cover timely topics in employment law, including the Court’s recent interpretation of Title VII as offering protection for transgender status and sexual orientation. Videos can be viewed on the Nemeth Law YouTube channel.
