Detroit –March 31, 2016 –Attorneys with Detroit-based management side labor and employment law firm Nemeth Law, P.C., made several presentations during the first quarter of 2016. The discussions covered a variety of employment law topics:
• Terry Bonnette and Cliff Hammond, partners in the firm, presented the annual labor and employment law update on Jan. 20 at Nemeth Law’s Raising the Bar, an educational series raising employer awareness of current issues in employment and labor law.
• Terry Bonnette and Deborah Brouwer, also a partner in the firm, presented Litigation Developments and Trends: Gender Identity in the Workplace, for a large insurance group in Ohio on Feb. 9.
• Deborah Brouwer appeared on Fox 2’s Job Shop with Murray Feldman on Feb. 16 to discuss staying on the right side of the law with employment interview questions.
• Terry Bonnette presented Ignorance is Not Bliss: Staying on Top of the Changing Legal Landscape at the at the American Society of Employers (ASE) annual People, Profit Progress conference on March 17.
In addition, Nemeth Law’s video series covering timely topics in employment law, including horizontal and vertical joint employer status, the Zika virus and paid parental leave trends, continues. Videos can be viewed on the Nemeth Law YouTube channel.
