Southfield, Mich. — Nov. 6, 2015 — Neil Rockind, founder of Southfield-based criminal defense law firm, Rockind Law, has been hired by Charles Raymond Warren Jr. of Waterford to provide counsel for Warren’s felony charges of reckless driving causing death and failure to stop at the scene of an accident. Warren was hauling a trailer on I-75 in northern Oakland County when he hit Michigan State Trooper Chad Wolf on Aug. 28. Wolf ultimately died from his injuries.

“This tragic accident needs to be addressed as such,” Rockind said. “This is yet another example of criminalizing accidents where no criminal conduct has occurred.”

The charges faced by Warren carry penalties of up to 15 years in prison.
