Auburn Hills, Mich. – April 24, 2015 – Buzz Brown and Bob Kittle, co-founders of Michigan-based Munetrix, which offers a proprietary fiscal credit score and early warning indicator for school districts and municipalities through a data-driven, public-facing dashboard that complies with state transparency laws, will serve as speakers at the Michigan School Business Officials (MSBO) 77th annual conference and exhibit to be held April 28-30 at Cobo Center in Detroit. The conference is the largest educational trade show in Michigan and this year’s theme is Leading with Positivity.

Brown and Kittle will co-present “Let’s get transparency off the table” on Thursday, April 30 at 9:45 a.m. Including case studies as part of the discussion, the session will address how using technology can simplify the transparency process, while improving the quality of the information and lowering costs at the same time.

“The demand for transparency reporting isn’t going away – it’s only increasing,” Kittle said. “Between ever increasing requirements, FOIA legislation, safety drill reporting and more, there is scarce time left to do ‘real’ work. This is why the state has supported the use of Munetrix by school districts as an option for effectively managing the Department of Education requirements. This allows districts to focus more time on educating students, and not doing backend reporting. We look forward to sharing Munetrix success stories while we continue to help Michigan school districts succeed.”

Munetrix will also be exhibiting at the MSBO 77th annual conference and exhibit show April 28-30 at Cobo Hall – and can be found at booth #722. To learn more about the event, click here.
