Rochester, Mich. – Dec. 21, 2015- MedNetOne Health Solutions (MNOHS), a health care management organization offering infrastructure, clinical and technology services to independent physician practices and other independent care providers, announces Tia Ollie, Pharm.D., BCPS, has joined the organization’s clinical team as Director of Clinical Pharmacy Programs. Immediately prior to joining MNOHS, Ollie was a clinical pharmacist at the Detroit Medical Center, serving Children’s Hospital of Michigan and Harper University Hospital.

In this new position at MNHOS, Ollie is responsible for overseeing all pharmacy activities, including review of clinical data and pharmacy claims and ensuring patient safety regarding medication appropriateness, particularly among the elderly patient population. She will continue to serve academic appointments as an Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor at the Wayne State University Eugene Applebaum College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences and Adjunct Clinical Instructor at the University of Michigan College of Pharmacy in Ann Arbor.

Ollie holds a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Tuskegee University. She completed her pharmacy practice residency at Harper University Hospital in 2006. Ollie is a Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist (BCPS) and the author of numerous published articles on a variety of clinical pharmacy topics. She is a member of the University of Michigan College of Pharmacy Board of Governors, the American College of Clinical Pharmacy (ACCP) and the Southeast Michigan Society of Health-System Pharmacists (SMSHP).
