Rochester, Mich. – April 3, 2017 – Ewa Matuszewski, CEO of Rochester, Mich.-based MedNetOne Health Solutions, a health care management organization offering infrastructure, clinical and technology services to more than 800 private practice physicians plus other independent care providers, has been invited to participate as a panelist in a roundtable discussion as part of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s Listening Tour.  Economic growth and workforce talent will be at the center of the April 11 panel discussion at the Shinola Factory in Detroit.

Detroit is one of several urban areas that the U.S. Chamber of Commerce is visiting on its nationwide Listening Tour, which aims to create a national dialogue beginning at the local level to identify key components for growth and success.  Matuszewski will join other business owners, elected officials, policy leaders, and local and state chambers to address the projected labor shortage in Michigan while broaching related topics such as talent retention and skilled trades.

“As Detroit and the region continue its resurgence, ongoing job growth coupled with labor shortages in key areas are topics on the minds of business owners,” Matuszewski said. “I am honored to join local thought leaders as we delve into the economics of job growth, discuss the issues that come along with it and look for viable solutions to achieve sustainable economic success.”

Thomas J. Donahue, President and CEO of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, is scheduled to attend the April 11 roundtable event.  Crain Content Studio, the custom content division of Crain’s Detroit Business, will produce a white paper for the Chamber after the event, which is being moderated by Crain’s Publisher, Ron Fournier and Crain’s Custom Content Director, Kristin Bull.
