The Michigan Chapter of the Licensing Executives Society (LES) to host Intellectual Property and Licensing Symposium on Feb. 22  

ANN ARBOR, Mich. – Feb. 2, 2017 – Michael N. Spink, an intellectual property attorney and shareholder in the Ann Arbor office of Brinks Gilson & Lione, one of the nation’s largest intellectual property law firms, announced the Michigan Chapter of the Licensing Executives Society (LES) will hold an Intellectual Property and Licensing Symposium on Wednesday, Feb. 22 on the campus of Wayne State University in Detroit. Spink is a co-chair of the Michigan chapter of LES, which is an international professional society comprised of nearly 3,000 members engaged in the transfer, use, development, manufacture and marketing of intellectual property.

The Intellectual Property and Licensing Symposium will take place from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Spencer M. Partrich Auditorium inside the Wayne State University Law School. It will feature an advanced discussion of intellectual property and licensing issues by distinguished panelists Jeff Calfa, Chief IP Counsel for Navistar, John Carney, Director of Commercialization and Licensing at Delphi, Mary Meyer, Head of Global Licensing for General Motors and Patti Glaza, Vice President of Invest Detroit. A reception will follow the panel discussion.
