Detroit — April 20, 2016 — The French-American Chamber of Commerce, Michigan Chapter (FACC Michigan), a not-for-profit business organization committed to the improvement of economic, commercial and financial relations between France and the United States, announced the appointment or re-election of select directors following a vote at its April 7 annual meeting. Serving a two-year term are:

• David Arnould, Valeo; newly elected as Director at Large; resident of West Bloomfield
• Francoise Colpron, Valeo; re-elected as Director at Large; resident of Birmingham
• Arnaud Mangin, eValidate; re-elected as Director at Large; resident of Birmingham
• Kathy Myers, Conlin Travel; re-elected as Director of the Board and secretary; also serving as chair of membership committee; resident of Bloomfield Hills
• Frederic Vaillant, BorgWarner; re-elected as Director of the Board, also serving as co-chair of the business committee; resident of Rochester Hills

Separately, FACC Michigan will host its annual gala and award ceremony on Friday, May 6 at The Detroit Athletic Club. This year’s gala will celebrate the historical ties that connect Detroit with the French and also the economic impact that Michigan companies with French roots have on the region and the state. The guest of honor and speaker is The Honorable Mike Duggan, Mayor of Detroit.
