Rochester, Mich.— Aug. 28, 2014 – Rochester Rotary, a member club of Rotary International, a worldwide organization of business and professional leaders that provides humanitarian service and encourages high ethical standards in all vocations, is pleased to announce its $5,000 donation to Rochester Area Neighborhood House. The check was presented to RANH Executive Director Linda Riggs at the Aug. 26 Rochester Rotary meeting.
Rochester Area Neighborhood House is a nonprofit human service organization founded by local faith communities in 1968 to assist neighbors during times of hardship. RANH serves Auburn Hills, Rochester, Rochester Hills and Oakland Township and partners with the community and social service providers to help move these neighbors to self-sufficiency through food, clothing, financial assistance, transportation and counseling services.
“On behalf of the Rochester Rotary Club, we are pleased to support the efforts of Rochester Area Neighborhood House as it continues to reach out to community members in need and help them move back to self-sufficiency,” Rhonda Panczyk, Rochester Rotary Club president said.
